Origin

Born in a basement. Built for the session.

Sound Yeti started the way a lot of audio companies do — out of frustration. We were chasing the right tools and sounds for our own projects, and kept running into libraries that were either too thin, too expensive, or too hard to put to work.

So we asked the dangerous question: how hard can it be? We were creative, skilled, and stubborn enough to find out. The Sound Yeti expedition began with a clear quest — build creativity-inspiring instruments, technology, and sounds that won’t break the bank.

And no, we didn’t start on a mountainside basecamp in Nepal. We started in a basement. The name still fits. The work is still the same: help composers, producers, and sound designers level up — then get out of the way.
