Rene G. Boscio

When it came time to develop the first Expansion Sound Packs for Sound Yeti’s virtual synth engine, Ambition, we reached out to René Boscio to get the job done. Just take a listen to Dawn and Dusk and you’ll hear why it was a good move on our part. Boscio captured and reinforced the essence of Ambition with his pristine, pure and soulful sample production and delivered a sweetly expressive sound palette for composers and sound designers in any genre.

Born in Puerto Rico, René G. Boscio is a composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. He’s contributed music to over 100 episodes of hit television series (Riverdale, Blindspot, The Flash) as well as many independent films. He has collaborated with filmmakers and performers such as William Shatner, James Franco, Morena Baccarin, Ivonne Coll, Brianna Hildebrand.

René began his career in music over 20 years ago in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and in 2013, he moved to Los Angeles, CA, where he began working alongside composer Blake Neely. There he honed his arranging and composition skills creating music for TV shows such as Arrow (The CW), The Mentalist (CBS), Supergirl (The CW), and others. Since branching out on his own in 2017, he has composed and produced original scores for more than 50 visual media productions.
