Downloading and Installing Plugins
Downloading and Installing Plugins Registered with Native Instruments
New to Native Instruments? Download Native Access to download, install, activate, and update all your Native Instruments registered software from one place. Follow the prompts for product activation and enter your product key you received with your purchase.
If you already have an account with Native Instruments, just log into Native Access and enter your product key that accompanied your purchase.
Downloading and Installing Plugins – not registered with Native Instruments
Depending on manufacturer, your product download may or may not included a product key. Follow the steps as indicated by the maker of your product. Typically the help files or user guide included with your purchase will guide you successfully.
Downloading and Installing Sound Libraries
Downloading and Installing Sample Libraries, Sound Libraries, Drum Samples, Audio Files
Depending on the product you purchased your sound files will be downloaded in compressed .rar, .zip formats or in the uncompressed sound file formats indicated in the product specifications. (.wav, .ogg, .mp3 etc.). For .rar and .zip files you will need to uncompress the files (unarchive) before using them.
We’ve had good experiences with these unarchiving tools that are readily available: WinZip, ALZip, The Unarchiver, RAR unarchiver and others. Just do a little search and you’ll be good to go! Note: When extracting .RAR files, always and only start with the first file, the #1 file. That will unpack all RAR files and will create one master file (folder structure) for your content.
User Guides and Content Lists (meta data)
Links to product manuals and user guides are located in the tabbed section at the bottom of each product detail page. Also, check the appropriate product page for information about updates or any additional content available for the product.
When you make a purchase from Sound Yeti you have the opportunity to create an account before or at checkout.
