We have updated Ambition with a quick fix to addresses sound browser compatibility with Expansion Sound Packs in Ambition. The update process is very easy and will only take you a couple of minutes to install.

If you purchased Ambition before this date – December 23, 2020, you will need to follow these steps below to make sure Ambition is able to run the new Expansion Sound Pack: RELIC, and future Ambition Expansion Sound Packs. If you don’t remember your purchase date, follow below…

How to check if you need to Update:

• Locate where Ambition is installed on your computer or hard drive.
• Navigate to the Samples folder. (You should see the rc.nkr and rc.nkc files.
• Inspect the rc.nkr. If you see this date (November 28, 2020, or earlier) on the rc.nkr you need to update this file.
• Another way to find out is the Ambition Version 1.1.txt file. You should see that the text file has information about 1.1.1 updates

How to apply the Update:

• Download the Ambition – 1.1.1.zip NKR Update files. Click here to Download.
• Unzip the Ambition – 1.1.1.zip file.
• Once unzipped, copy both the rc.nkr and rc.nkc files to your computer’s clipboard.

• Next, Locate where Ambition is installed on your computer or hard drive.
• Navigate to the Samples folder. (You should see the rc.nkr and rc.nkc files.
• Paste and replace the existing files with the new files. The date on the file should now reflect Dec 14, 2020.

Thats it! Ambition is now ready to load the Relic Ambition Expansion Sound Pack and other expansion sound packs coming in the future.
