Collision FX: “Main Page” Tutorial

Tour through the main page of Kontakt 5 virtual Instrument “Collision FX”. You’ll find the user interface of Collision FX instantly familiar and easy to use. As you approach the Main Page you’re greeted with standard amplitude envelope ADSR controls to the right. On the left of the Main Page, You have a Pitch control and Reverse button. The Main page is home to 3 instant side-chain power mods: Destruction Shimmer and Depth. To make it a little more interesting, Collision FX power mods can be used in any combination. Try mixing and mashing these powerful side-chain presets together to create some truly unique and attention getting sounds. Thanks for watching.

Tour through the Sculpting Page of Kontakt 5 virtual Instrument “Collision FX”. You’ll find the user interface of Collision FX instantly familiar and easy to use. Sculpting in Collision FX offers three convenient controls – Filtering, Equalization, and Compression. Each Effect “Parameter” is activated by simply interacting with one of the controls. Each effect can be de-activated by clicking on the corresponding button with the effect name on it. The controls for each parameter on the sculpting page, are concentric and placed on top of one another. These controls will help you shape your sound and slot it into the mix. Collision FX: “Effects Page” Tutorial

Welcome to the Effects Page Tutorial!You’re instantly greeted with a wide variety of tools, effects, and modulators for shaping your sound. The Effects interface brings you matrix style control over each effect parameter and three main modulation effect types. The interactions and variability you can create are almost endless. The Effects interface is divided in an upper and lower half. The upper half hosts the effect controls while the Lower half hosts the modulation controls. By engaging one of these effects, the corresponding effect’s control panel will appear to the right. Each effect parameter control consists of a knob, the name of the parameter, the value of the parameter, and three modulation controls. By selecting a modulation button above an effect control, that effect parameter’s value is now being controlled by whichever modulation is selected. Collision FX: “Space Page” Tutorial

Welcome to the Space Page Tutorial! The Space tab hosts Collision FX’s convolution reverb controls and 190 custom impulse responses and delays. A variety of room and environmental reverbs can be selected by using the main drop-down menu in the center of the interface.. or moved incrementally through the list using adjacent left and right arrows. Now you know what you’re working with, start creating dimensions of space beyond basic auditoriums and rooms. The convolution reverb selection gives you access to powerful spatial and ambient overtones that are perfect for cinematic sound. This page is dripping wet with space sauce. Use at your own risk.
