Kontakt is a sampler created by the great people at Native Instruments. What this does is allow others to create digital instruments by utilizing the audio they have recorded inside their DAW as an Instrument Plug-In. At Sound Yeti, we create instruments like (AMBITION, COLLISION FX, METHOD1) within the framework that Kontakt is structured; which is why you will need Kontakt to use them.
Sounds good, but how much does it cost?
Native Instruments has two versions: a free version Kontakt Player and the standard paid version. All of our software instruments work in either version you choose without any limitations on functionality.
